About the Exhibition

'Higher Heights' is the 2025 annual exhibition co-hosted by Dunhuang Contemporary Art Museum and Gansu Provincial Museum, featuring precious exhibits from the British Library, IDP International Dunhuang Project, and other academic platforms worldwide.

The exhibition takes 'ascent' as its starting point, exploring three key themes: space, form, and aesthetics, tracing the historical perspectives and diverse encounters along the Silk Road, presenting over 20 inscribed walls and works by nearly 20 artists spanning millennia.

Our Work

The DW team is responsible for video documentation and content communication for this exhibition. We conducted in-depth interviews with over twenty participating artists, creating a documentary to present their creative thinking.

Interviewed artists include Lu Dadong, Zheng Jing, Wang Zigeng, Yu Zhen, and others. The documentary will be presented on multiple platforms, providing audiences with a window into the artists' inner worlds.
